Extra string! With drop D? Madness, I love it. I would suggest taking one of the armrests off your chair for comfort while playing, but you did well anyway. Can you use that 7 string drop D to take Tool or Clutch songs to the next level?
I love the energy of the drums on this track, helps you push the notes. The progression occasionally reminds me of Primus.
I really like the tapping section. Occasionally when I hear the vocals I think of this song from Killswitch Engage called Bid Farewell
